The Shipping Import function allows you to import the following data to the Smith_StoreOrders table:

  • OrderID
  • TrackingNumber
  • ShipCarrier
  • ShipMethod
  • ShipDate – Defaults to today
  • OrderStatus – Automatically set to “Shipped”

When importing your shipping info, the program will lookup Orders by OrderID, if the OrderID currently exists in the database the import program will update the existing record, set the Order Status to "Shipped" and assign today's date as the ShipDate.
