Show Member Prices By Role

SmithCart supports the ability to display and apply Member Prices when the user is logged in and a member of the role you define using the Show Member Prices by Role option. When Show Member Prices By Role is enabled and a user is logged in and added to a DNN role that has been assigned member pricing the product listing page and product detail page will show the member pricing defined for the appropriate role.

To enable Show Member Prices By Role, navigate to the BuyNow module and select Discounts / Member Pricing under the Marketing section of the Store Admin Menu:

Select the option titled Show Member Prices By Role as depicted in the following screenshot:

The Show Member Prices by Role option allows Member Prices to be applied to the order based on Products and/or Variants added to the Cart. The following 2 sections describe how to define the DNN Role and Member Price:

Product Member Pricing Setup

To access the Product Member Pricing Setup management screen, select the Member Pricing menu item under the Discounts top navigation option of the Product Setup screen as depicted in the following screenshot:

After selecting the Member Pricing menu option, the following screen will be displayed:

To add a Member Price and configure a Role, click the Add Member Pricing button and the following screen will be displayed:

The following settings are available to be configured for the Show Member Prices By Role option:

Member Price Label 1 – Member price label 1 is the label that shows up next to member price 1 on the product listing and product detail pages.

Member Price 1 – Member price 1 is the member price that shows up on the product listing and product detail pages when the user is logged in and is a member of the role that has been assigned to this member price level.

Member Price Label 2 – Member price label 2 is the label that shows up next to member price 2 on the product listing and product detail pages.

Member Price 2 – Member price 2 is the member price that shows up on the product listing and product detail pages when the user is logged in and is a member of the role that has been assigned to this member price level. If second level member pricing is defined for a product then the user will be presented with a radio button option on the product details page to choose either member price 1 or member price 2.

Member Role – Dropdown list of all the current roles available in your portal. Choose a role from the dropdown list that you want to assign to the pricing tier being defined.

Enter the Discounts By Role information then click the Save button to save or click the Cancel button to cancel.



Variant Member Pricing Setup

To access the Variant Member Pricing Setup management screen, navigate to the Product Setup screen and select the Variants top navigation option as depicted in the following screenshot:

The following Manage Product Variants screen will be displayed:

Next, select the Variant Member Pricing tab as depicted in the following screenshot:

The following screen will be displayed:

To add a new variant member pricing click the Add Member Pricing button and the following screen will be displayed:

The following settings are available to be configured for the Show Member Prices By Role option:

Product Variants – Select the product variant that you are entering member pricing for.

Member Role – Dropdown list of all the current roles available in your portal. Choose a role from the dropdown list that you want to assign member pricing to.

Member Price – Member price is the member price that is displayed to the user on the product detail pages when the user is logged in and is a member of the role that has been assigned member pricing.

Enter the Variant Member Pricing information then click the Add Member Price button to save or the Cancel button to cancel.
