The Product Variant Import function provides the ability to import an unlimited number of Variants and Conditional Variants from a .csv file.

To access the Variant Import click the "Import" option from the Store Admin Menu.

There are several methods that can be used to Variant data into your store. No matter what method you use, you should export first so you can view the column headings and ensure your import data matches the proper format. This same file can then be modified and used as the import file.

When importing your Variants, the program will lookup Variants by ProductSku, VariantSku, VariantGroup and VariantName, if a record with the VariantSku, VariantGroup and VariantName currently exists in the database the import program will update the existing record and if the VariantSku, VariantGroup and VariantName does not exist, the import program will insert a new record in the database.

Note: Before importing Variants, be sure that Variant Groups have been added either manually or via the Variant Group Import and the correct GroupID associated with the Variant is populated in the GroupID column of the import file.
